This session covers two topics.

1) Public Attitudes to Grief and Bereavement in the UK

Amunpreet Boyal and Dr Alistair Hewison will present the latest research commissioned by the Sue Ryder charity. This includes the results of a survey of over 2,000 adults investigating experiences of and attitudes towards bereavement, and a rapid evidence assessment of UK bereavement support.

2) Grief and Dementia

Second, Professor Richard Cheston will discuss research on how people adjust to dementia and his work as a psychotherapist at a memory clinic.
