Rhythms at Unitarian Meeting Hall

A gig on Thursday 19th May. The event starts at 19:00.

“Shed the past, forget the future, and fall into the moment feet first.”
-- Gabrielle Roth

Inspired by Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms and the vibrant Bristol ecstatic dance scene, we present Live Rhythms - 100 minutes of non-stop live music from a 6-piece live band in dialogue with the dancefloor. Improvised, in-the-moment interaction between everyone present. A space to use movement as a vehicle for embodiment, connection and release. Party time.

With Josh Green guiding on the mic and supported by a cadre of Bristol's hottest musicians, this event is suitable for both veterans of the scene, and people who have never done anything like this before.

This is a benefit event for Alfoxton Park, a brilliant new Buddhist Retreat Centre in Somerset that needs a new roof. Check out www.alfoxtonpark.org.uk for more info.
