Starve Acre Preview Screening + Q&A at Watershed
£11.00 full / £8.50 concessions

A event held at Watershed on Thursday 5th September. The event starts at 18:00.

Matt Smith (Doctor Who) and Morfydd Clark (Saint Maud) star in this stylish adaptation of Andrew Michael Hurley’s folk horror novel.

In 1970s rural Yorkshire, Richard and Juliette Willoughby’s seemingly idyllic family life is thrown into turmoil when their young son Owen starts acting out of character and they unknowingly allow dark and sinister forces into their home, awakening a long-dormant ancient evil rooted deep in the countryside.

This is director Daniel Kokotajlo’s anticipated follow up to his BAFTA nominated debut Apostasy, which premiered last year at the BFI London Film Festival.

This preview screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Daniel Kokotajlo.
