This workshop introduces the work of Dance Movement Psychotherapy with a focus on how the body can offer grounding, support and a sense of inner stability. Together we will explore how to feel more resourced and at home in and through the body.
You will be guided through gentle, embodied explorations that invite you to sense your boundaries, connect with support, resources and listen to the body’s responses. You also will be invited to use play, imagination and creative arts to support this process.
The body holds our life experiences in our tissues and body memory. As we build resources in the body, we become more able to stay connected to our emotional landscape. Feeling more grounded creates a safer inner container, allowing us to sense, process and integrate our feelings and experiences with greater ease.
This workshop is experiential, embodied and creative, offering space to let the body find its way home.
