Bristol is well know as one of the premier food and drink destinations in the West. As well as being a top spot for music, our discerning citizens love a good bite to eat. New foodie areas like Wapping Wharf have appeared over the past few years - providing more choice than ever for visitors wanting to grab a bite.
With a strong vegan and health food community in districts like St Werburghs and Gloucester Road, there are a lot of events catering to these crowds too. The annual Vegfests provides ethically sourced food and drink as well as music. Werburghs' institution 'The Farm' run regular food events with a locally-sourced agenda. You can also look forward to events like Grillstock, Eggs Benedict Day or the more drinks-focused South Glos Food & Drink Festival and the UK Rum Festival.

“Historically, it is a time when the world of gods and spirits are revealed to humans, when the barrier between our worlds thins. At this time, the gods were believed to play many tricks on humans, with spooky and unexplainable occurrences happening. We strengthen our connection to them through music, fire, dance, and offer food and drink to celebrate.”
