Legs Misbehave - Fast Swing Social with The Kitchen Syncopators at Ashton Court
Includes taster class, live band and venue hire.

A gig held at Ashton Court on Saturday 26th July. The event starts at 19:30.

Legs Misbehave is a brand new swing exchange with faster swing music ideal for Balboa, Shag, Fast Lindy or whatever your speedy feet desire. These tickets are for our Saturday event alone. Full weekend passes can still be bought here: https://sugarfootswing.com/legs-misbehave/.

We're absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to dance in the Ashton Court Mansion and we'd like to extend a massive thanks to Art Space UK for providing the opportunity.

The Kitchen Syncopators hail from Bristol. A bit like a rare species of bird, they are seldom seen on the Bristol Jazz and Swing ‘scene’ despite being relative veterans as members of bands (past and present) such as The Gin Bowlers, Around About Dusk, The International Jazz Disaster and Trudgeon’s Trad Jazz Troubadours amongst others. This is because the band's main aim was to get together whenever they could, outside of their other band commitments, to have as much fun as possible whilst playing some lesser known songs (thanks to lead singer Phil Crimp’s encyclopaedic knowledge of early jazz and swing) whilst experimenting and having fun composing some unique arrangements.

Phil Crimp - Banjo and Vocals
Dan Somers - Piano
Bill Frampton - Double Bass
Gus Dolding - Clarinet
Joss Murray - Trumpet
Damian Keane - Drums
