Everyday Magazine Club Night

— Basement 45
Breaks, Garage and House from Moylan Family, Wavezd, Skeleton King and Tabideee
price: Headfirst Tickets

Expect Garage, Breaks, House and more from our killer line-up of DJs at The Everyday Magazine's first club night.

Skeleton King (Lobster Theremin)
Mixing breaks, garage, house and more, Skeleton King's debut EP caught the attention of respected tastemakers such as Ben UFO and KiNK. His selection style has garnered similar attention with numerous guest mix slots over the past few months on the likes of Reprezent, Radio Relatives, Mode London and more.Expect a dynamic set moving between genres and influences - a set of good vibes rooted in that UK sound.

Wavezd (Lobster Theremin)
Fresh off his debut vinyl release via Lobster Theremin imprint There Is Love In You, and a headline set at The Lanes, Lakota resident Wavezd is stepping up to the decks for The Everyday House Party. His blend of house, techno and disco can be heard across the airwaves with former radio residencies on both Vandelay and Longthrow, and his experience in some of Bristol best loved clubs mean his selections never miss.

Moylan Family Soundclash
The Moylan Family Soundclash are Paul and Hannah, a father and daughter DJing duo from the depths of Easton in Bristol. Paul has been at the epicentre of the Easton scene as resident at the legendary venue, The Plough, whilst Hannah has taken the love of dance music and DJ knowhow and hit the ground running as DJ Hannza - now part of all female and nb crew @bootybassdj; often to be found at Bristol staples like Lakota. When they come together as The Moylan Family Soundclash alchemy happens, and beats are born that span generations. Expect bass-heavy beats and a mixture of genres from d&b, afrobeat, house, jungle and beyond.

Multi-disciplinary artist, civil engineer and resident at 1020 Radio, Tabideee will be fresh from a summer of gigs in London and playing you a set to remember. By stripping techno back to its black beat influences, Tabideee’s selections are an ode to her community’s contributions to the genre. Seamlessly lacing depressive electronic sounds with Grime, UK Funky, garage and Afrobeats, Tabideee is delivering to you a set that screams power, resistance and black joy.
