After many raucous evenings of swing, Bristol Community Big Band returns to Bristol Old Vic by popular demand, Wednesdays throughout the summer, 22 July - 2 September.

Made up of non-professional musicians from across Bristol and the South West, BCBB is unofficially (but very probably) the biggest big band in Bristol. Led by local trumpet legend Jonny Bruce, come along for a FREE evening of high-energy big band music in BOV's beautiful Foyer space.

Expect all the hits from the golden era of swing, from Duke Ellington to Dizzy Gillespie, with special guests from across the Bristol jazz scene, including special guest vocalist, Victoria Klewin.

Plus, make sure to bring your dancing shoes! Come early from 7pm for a free Lindy Hop swing session, so you can learn some mobes before you get down.
