Making their El Rincon debut as part of their album release winter tour, Cardiff-based vocalist Jeffery & pianist Gripper are a top-notch rising-stars duo. Their music mixes elements of progressive pop, indie folk, alternative jazz, classical & Baroque, and combines their own impressive compositions with some brilliantly unexpected versions. What a classy way to start our 2026 music programme. Tickets: https://wegottickets.com/event/681509

Join Elijah and Eddie for the launch of their “eagerly awaited” (The Jazz Mann) collaboration.

Written and recorded within eight weeks, this self-titled album marks the culmination of both musicians’ close working relationship and shared passion for songwriting. Featuring seven original songs and one never-before-heard adaptation of a 17th-century aria, Elijah Jeffery & Eddie Gripper straddles the genres of progressive pop, indie folk, and alternative jazz.

Though both trained in jazz, their influences are wide-ranging. From the folk-inspired Shifting Seasons and the introspective ballad Because of You, to the art-pop of Close Your Eyes and a modern take on the Baroque aria Dido’s Lament, their music reflects a natural fusion of styles. The album embodies a growing desire for trans-genre collaboration, progressive songwriting, and storytelling in today’s streaming age.
