Solidarity Ceilidh - Fundraiser for Borderlands

Solidarity Ceilidh - Fundraiser for Borderlands at The Elmgrove Centre

A gig held at The Elmgrove Centre on Saturday 28th November. The event starts at 19:15.

The Solidarity Ceilidh is BACK by popular demand! - A Night of Dance, Culture & Music

Following the incredible success of our first Solidarity Ceilidh in February, which sold out weeks before the event, Borderlands is bringing the celebration back for round two!

Join us on Saturday 28th November 2026 for an unforgettable evening of joyful dancing, vibrant music and cultural celebration, in solidarity with people seeking sanctuary, to raise vital funds for Borderlands.

Get ready for a seriously uplifting Ceilidh led by Ceilidh Tree dubbed “London’s best Ceilidh band” (London Evening Standard) and guaranteed to “jig you into a frenzy” (Time Out).

Expect stomping fiddles, an expert caller to guide every move (no experience needed!), and a special performance from local musician Ozcan Ates and special guest.

Fuel the fun with a well-stocked boozy bar and non-alcoholic drinks featuring local brews from Bristol Beer Factory and Karma Drinks, plus FREE ICE-CREAM from the one and only Ben & Jerrys.

We’ll also have a raffle with a range of tempting prizes from Bristol Beacon, The Watershed, Bristol Packet Boat Trips, Gigi’s Pizza, Wogan Coffee and more!

All proceeds support Borderlands’ work in Bristol helping to bring asylum seekers, refugees and other vulnerable migrants from exclusion to belonging.

Date: Saturday 28th November - 7:00 - 10:30pm

Location: The Elmgrove Centre, Elmgrove Road, BS6 6AH

Just £17.50 for early bird tickets.

(There's also the option to purchase one of our special solidarity tickets, donating £35, £40 or even £50 to the cause!)

Bring your dancing shoes, joyful moves and community spirit!

We look forward to seeing you there.
