We're really excited to welcome jazz improvisers Duski to Friendly Records for their new album launch & our first live show since reopening the bar space.
Conversations between tenor saxophone & double bass entwine; drawing out delicate notes that allow space for reflection with brooding overtones of tension ever-present. Aidan Thorne struts along the double bass, bowing earthly drones for Greg Sterland's searching tenor saxophone reminiscent of the considered European jazz leanings of early Portico Quartet. Another welcome addition to the impressive British jazz scene.
