Ruth Hammond + Jam Session
A gig held at The Ill Repute on Sunday 1st November. The event starts at 18:00.
Join us this Sunday at the new home of Jazz on Old Market, as we welcome phenominal multi-instrumentalist Ruth Hammond (Jingu Bang, Starlings, Brass Junkies). Ruth is a keystone of the Bristol music community, equally at home at The National Theatre, Ronnie Scotts or Glastonbury Festival.
This evening Ruth will be joining the house trio on Sax to perform a set of standards before welcoming seasoned musicians to join for a jam session in set 2.
House PA system provided, sometimes we are also able to provide a keyboard but jammers are also welcome to bring their own.
£5 suggested donation.
Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
