Afrobeats Allstars + Ether Trio at The Jam Jar

A gig held at The Jam Jar on Friday 10th April. The event starts at 20:30.


Expect live renditions of some of the biggest and best in Afrobeats, paying homage to Burna Boy, Tems, Wizkid, and more. 

Following the success of the Afrobreats edition of Deems Experiment's residency at The Gallimaufry back in February, we are excited to welcome the band to The Jam Jar, featuring:

Deems Experiment:
Deems Experiment is the project of pianist, arranger, and composer Aondoyima (Deems) Ioratim-Uba. Drawing from a wide variety of sonic sources including jazz, soul and afrobeat to art rock, classical and electronic music, Deems Experiment is a collaborative, improvised project with rotating musicians, selected for their commitment to free improvisation and communication through music.

Luna Kali:
Luna Kali is a multilingual singer and writer from Portugal who loves Neo-Soul, R&B, and Indigenous Folk Music. She moved from Lisbon to Bristol to find her sound, by fusing her inspirations. She expresses her passion for love, life, and unity, but also highlights the daily struggles of being a minority in the Western world.
