A
event
on Thursday 19th June. The event starts at 18:00.
Bristol Apartheid Free Zone (BAFZ) are running a free doorknocking training event to help you learn how to get active in your local area in support of Palestine.
BAFZ are a local community-led boycott campaign building a city-wide boycott of Israel fresh produce in support of a free Palestine. This is being achieved by knocking every door in the city and asking people to sign our pledge!
Having been active in Easton, St Pauls and St Werberghs, they have now started action south of the river. Their debut mass canvassing event in Bedminster earlier this month saw over 70 people take to the streets to build the boycott across South Bristol.
Over 2200 people and 65 shops have already signed on to support the campaign.
With a doorknocking strategy inspired by the work of the tenant Union ACORN, come and learn from BAFZ how to get active in your community to build a mass movement for a free Palestine
This event is recommended for those new to doorknocking and those already in our campaign who would like to learn the principles and plans behind our doorknocking strategy.
Entry requirements: Doorknockers will need to be 18+ but if you have children you need to bring along due to childcare then please feel free to do so
Please Note: Capacity is limited for this event to 20 people. If this is booked up quickly we will run the event again
Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
