Amun-Ramen at Mr Wolfs
See event details

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Saturday 11th September. The event starts at 21:00.

Amun-Ramen (named after the Egyptian god of instant noodles) are a 4-piece band from Bristol. They perform a mix of genres, from psychedelic folk-rock, through americana and blues, to even prog/jazz moments. They represent a pretty oldschool hippie sound with a contemporary twist to it. Most of their songs are originals, with a few kooky covers added in for comic effect. Adam Crowther from BBC Radio Bristol thinks they're hilarious.

AlterModerns
Originally from Brazil, AlterModerns are a Bristol-based duo who have never been afraid to wear their influences on their musical sleeves. Glauco Caruso (guitar/vocals) and Ananda Kuhn (drums/vocals), combine their love of The Sonics, Love and Bo Diddley with a badge of honour, playing a selection of ‘docufictional’ songs about how communication, travel and migration affect a way of life.
