A gig held at Rough Trade Bristol on Sunday 29th August. The event starts at 20:00.

Aoife Nessa Frances’ songwriting paints a luscious, dream-like landscape. On her debut album ‘Land of No Junction’, the Irish musician draws on “an eclectic array of record-collector reference points - ‘60s psych-pop, ‘70s art-rock, Tropicalia, avant-garde orchestration” (Pitchfork) and distills this into a distinct sound of her own.

Frances’ mellow, lilting vocals gracefully take centre stage, accompanied by understated yet richly textured instrumentation. With her debut Frances “has untapped a natural spring of expression” (Folk Radio) and now she’s ready to take these enchanting songs on the road.

Support from John Francis Flyn.
