A gig held at Rough Trade Bristol on Sunday 30th January. The event starts at 20:00.

A founding member of Skipper’s Alley, John Francis Flynn is “hotly tipped for folk stardom” (Hot Press). A supremely talented singer and multi-instrumentalist, the Dubliner draws on the folk traditions of his Irish homeland, intertwining this with his singularly haunting and enchanting instrumental arrangements and vocal delivery. After touring with Lankum in 2019, Flynn signed to Rough Trade’s folk imprint River Lea and released his acclaimed “extraordinary debut” (The Guardian) ‘I Would Not Live Always’ earlier this year.
