A
gig
held at Rough Trade Bristol
on Wednesday 23rd March. The event starts at 20:00.
Acclaimed musician Jesse Marchant has made a name for himself with his “warmly affecting song-craft and penchant for great melody” (Pop Matters). The New York based artist’s stirring, emotive folk-rock is fuelled by lilting vocals and graceful instrumentation.
With four albums released on Partisan Records, Marchant’s upcoming record ‘Antelope Running’ is due out this summer. Written over a period of global upheaval, Marchant’s latest work takes his reflective songwriting and delicate compositions to even greater depths.
As well as headline tours across the US and Canada, Marchant has played shows with Alt-J, Nathaniel Rateliff, Local Natives and Damien Jurado.
