You’ll learn how to construct a well-proportioned drawing and capture the unique forms and character of a selected object. With simple materials, we’ll explore how to create a sense of depth and solidity using light, shadow, and highlight.

This session is ideal for anyone looking to develop a compact sketchbook kit, perfect for documenting gallery visits, exhibitions, or building a visual journal.

The workshop will be led by Andy Gray, who brings over 20 years of experience teaching drawing in higher and further education. He currently runs Urban Sketching courses at The Bristol Folk House and Design West.
