A fundraiser for Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone featuring live music, talks and DJs - Fedzilla, Palestine Sound Archives, Tarek Elazhary & Yusuf Suave. Electronic, folk, jazz & more

Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone (BAFZ) invites you to join us for an evening to celebrate the music of resistance! We are raising money to keep building our movement as well as creating a space to come together before the Christmas break to connect over music, reflect on what we have achieved so far, and what remains to be done. The so-called ‘ceasefire’ may have brought an ostensive end to the spectacular violence, but the genocide in Palestine has not stopped, and our movement for justice and liberation will not stop either.

BAFZ is a movement building a community boycott of Israeli goods in Bristol. Our campaign is one of resistance in solidarity with Palestine and against the oppressive apartheid state of Israel and its western enablers. With over 5000 households in Bristol already pledged, and nearly 100 shops and organisations committed to not sell Israeli produce, we are the largest grassroots boycott movement in Europe.

This fundraiser is part of our Autumn fundraising initiative (https://chuffed.org/fundraiser/bafz-autumn) and will help us pay for printing campaign flyers as well as the posters our door knockers give to supporters and shops to display. It will also allow us to organise more events, like the community breakfasts and day schools we have been holding, to spread solidarity in our communities, and build the movement for the future.
