A
event
on Sunday 8th March. The event starts at 12:30.
By the session you will be able to:
*demonstrate the iconic blues pulse
*discover your own safe and flexible blues posture
*dance in partnership
*lead and follow in a variety of embraces
*learn how to initiate and follow turns from all embraces
*apply your skills to a range of blues music
*stylise the basics for maximum effect
*recognise and use the etiquette and consent of the scene
What is Blues Dancing
It's a chilled partner dance done to blues music and music related to the blues. It differs from other dances because the follow often has more control over how they respond. The best way to understand is to check out some videos by my favourite dancer. Type in 'Vicci and Adamo Blues' into youtube for some inspiration.
Pay what you can!
Everyone has a different relationship with money. The suggested amount is £20 but if you feel more comfortable paying £15 or £10 for the 3.5 hours you are welcome. By the session you will be able to:
