Join us for the third installment of Brilliant Corners as we welcome acclaimed bassist and arranger Chris Jones, who will be bringing an all-star band to perform his new arrangemnts of the music of Carla Bley.

Chris Jones is one of the UK’s top bass players, known for his huge sound, inventive rhythmic games and solid time, evoking comparisons to the likes of Charlie Haden and Larry Grenadier. A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire where he studied with Dave Holland and Thomas Morgan, Chris has been a main stay on the Jazz touring circuit for the past fifteen years performing with Stan Sultzman, Niki Illes, Sara Coleman, Iain Ballamy and many more.
