We are proud to announce the launch event for our debut album. It will take place in the crypt of St John On The Wall, Bristol on Sunday the 23rd of September 2018.
The event will include a small exhibition of band artwork by Ellen Southern (vocals), a site specific visual projection, and an intimate live performance by the band, all followed by a dark-dancefloor. Refreshments will be available at a small fundraising bar.
The album will be available to buy, along with other DCSM merch. Note: this event is cash only.
We are grateful to support of The Churches Conservation Trust, who have granted us permission to hold the launch in our favourite crypt. We will be collecting donations for this wonderful charity at the event.
The album has been recorded, mixed and mastered by Tom Berry at dBs Music , with assistance from Callum Godfroy.

Reviews for Dead Space Chamber Music debut self-titled album:
"We were thrilled to recieve this album. Dead Space Chamber Music are doing something visionary, unique and beautiful. What I imagine the more halcyon moments of Diamanda Galas's dreams must sound like" Cyprianus Augustus of The Unquiet Meadow, Asheville FM, USA.
"Playing the best possible music, the most beautiful, inspiring and stimulating music, I have a shot at doing that every week and I came up trumps this week: this is by Dead Space Chamber Music... get a dictionary, look up the word beautiful, if it hasn't got Dead Space Chamber Music, Flow My Teares next to it, then in a spontaneous conflagration ritual: burn it. Because it has misunderstood the word altogether. This is absolutely gorgeous, really really beautiful" - Phil Vickery, InTune BCFM Bristol 93.2FM
“… Beautiful performances like ceremonial sonic-arcs…Neoclassical pitch-dark.” The Cube, Bristol
“Gossamer, hypnotic, yet darkly lucid neo-classical drone-folk out of Bristol, England, the likes of which I've not quite heard. Under their influence, the listener enters an altogether ancient, and post-modern apocalyptic ritual. One where rapturous, rural incantations and cosmic drones combine to usher us back to eldritch places that can only have existed in aeons past (or future,) or in some dusky, uninhabited theatre of the Mind. This is the perfect soundtrack to a World tumbling toward some dire cosmic end, packed with just enough "hope" to inspire us toward new beginnings." - The Unquiet Meadow, Asheville FM (USA)
We are Dead Space Chamber Music, a dark ambient / ritual / gothic / ethereal / neoclassical trio of cello, guitar and voice, based in Bristol, UK.
Inspired by the focused intensity of ‘chamber music’, we channel and expand it in both musical and performative scope, creating a distinctivley emotive, transportive and atmospheric live experience. Pieces move between shimmering veils of fine textured sound, to heavily saturated effect-laden drones incorporating finely crafted treatments, often infused with vocal field-recording based sound-scapes.
