Aloisius, Paling, Lily Montague at The Cube
See event details

A gig held at The Cube on Friday 12th June. The event starts at 19:30.

Despite multiple attempts to slow down on the gig front, when we heard 'vernacular', we instantly knew we just had to get the mind behind it down to the Cube as soon as possible.

ALOISIUS (life is beautiful)
Aloisius is an improvisation-based artist and the founder of the gesamtkunstwerk 'life is beautiful’. Through life is beautiful, they frequently organise happenings across London showcasing various artists from various art forms such as: performance art, poetry, music, dance. On their debut album (proper) 'vernacular', they collage improvised jams, recorded via the noble laptop mic into some seriously "deviously raw, arty, life affirming gear" (Boomkat).

PALING (Improv the Greatest Hits)
Despite their relative youth and handful of live outings, the duo that is PALING have rapidly been turning heads and dropping jaws with their visceral brand of mathed out jams. Expect licks, fills and minds to boggle.

LILY MONTAGUE
Laying the ambient alongside the alarming, Lily is a producer and singer, who recently found a home in Bristol. Their debut EP heaven-sent contrasts the euphoric freedom of grief with the darker tones of its voices.
