The Palace International Film Festival programme is unveiled. We will showcase shorts and feature films from international underground artists, present a special screening with a live score, and throw a closing Palace Party with live acts and immersive installations.

GET YOUR FESTIVAL PASS NOW FOR £35 giving you access to any screen and any event at the film festival including our Queer Dystopia closing party and a live score. LIMITED AVAILABILITY.

The Palace Collective presents The Palace International Film Festival (PIFF). Like the Palace Collective itself, PIFF began life in an artist’s residency at a Polish Palace, where it gave a platform to queer art and ideas. PIFF will make its UK debut in Bristol this March with a 3-day gala showcase.

The festival will open with feature film Fluidø, a Berlin-produced sci-fi punk dystopian vision of the post AIDS-future of 2060. On Day 2, Derek Jarmans The Last of England will be screened as a Brexit Special, accompanied by a score performed live in the cinema by artists from The Palace Collective. The gala will close with Shakedown, a feature film that paints an intimate portrait of an underground lesbian club community in Los Angeles. As well as the feature titles, PIFF showcases three collections of shorts: Queer as F*ck, Community Activation
