Blackletter Garland is a vibrant new project helmed by acclaimed UK folk artists Lisa Knapp, “who’s been called the folk Björk” (Guardian), Marry Waterson and Nathanial Mann.

Delving into the songs of the historic broadsides, Hack-Poets Guild reinvent these songsheets from the 16th through to 20th centuries with their innovative contemporary folk touch.

Waterson, Mann and Knapp lead a five-piece band with their combined expertise comprising “folk music’s future…an exciting glimpse of an alternative, fresh and vital approach to presenting traditional music” (fRoots).
