Breabach at Bristol Folk House
See event details

A gig held at Bristol Folk House on Sunday 6th March. The event starts at 20:00.

Scottish quintet Breabach are consistently at the forefront of Scotland’s abundant folk scene. The group delves into their traditional Gaelic roots and fuses this with a distinct contemporary folk vision to craft their vibrant, striking soundscapes.

Their 2019 record ‘Frenzy of the Meeting’ won the BBC Scotland Traditional Music album award, adding to their extensive list of accolades and 2020 marked the group’s 15th anniversary.

Whilst Breabach’s usual packed touring schedule was paused by the pandemic they spent this time focussed on their latest work ‘Dùsagadh’ comprising five pieces set to animation which they toured virtually earlier this year.
