The five-piece band of Bristol University music students bring glittery, soothing neo-soul sounds with more than a hint of easy jazz. The five-piece fit together with ease, probably aided by their being course friends. Paula Rüßmann’s vocals have the same rich, soulful air to them as artists like Jorja Smith, whilst their original music echoes modern jazz, BadBadNotGood or Tom Misch.
