Venstra is a new group formed of Torsten Jensen (keyboardist for Hexcut, Prudent Primate and Paper Dragon) and Chris Dreher (producer under Darken, electronics wizard for Hexcut). Influenced by artists like Bonobo, Flying Lotus, Blockhead and Portishead, Venstra mix electronic production and beats with live keys and bass. Their sets combine sound design and sampling with improvisation using live instruments to give something somewhere between an electronic set and a jam!
