The brainchild of Greek-South African vocalist
and multi-instrumentalist Mano Camatsos, first
formed as a group in Los Angeles and then based
in Berlin. Now based in Edinburgh, Raiments uses
a bowed acoustic guitar to express avant-garde
drone-scapes, funk infused off-kilter lyrics and
nostalgic melodies. Their style is inspired by hip
hop,ethnological recordings and 20th century
classical music.

gap between music and protest in a way that feels

Electrelane / The Raincoats but making it their

experimental DIY scene ; a trumpet / double bass 
duo exploring improvisation as an act of somatic 
ritualisation. Intimate and open, they dream to 
have ears the size of telescopes !
