High Society at The Old Picture House, 7 Winton Street, Totterdown, BS4 2BW
£8 concession or £10

A gig on Friday 11th April. The event starts at 19:30.

If you decide to remake The Philadelphia Story, a perfect movie, what would you do for a value add? If you’re MGM, you’d throw everything you can at it. First, you make it a musical with new songs by Cole Porter. Then you film it on location at the mansions of Newport, Rhode Island. Then you bring in Louis Armstrong and his band to perform some hot jazz numbers. And then you throw all the star power you have at the movie. Hence starring Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong.

The movie will be introduced with live music and spoken word from Natalie Davis and Dave Merrick (Small Days)

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
