While no producer would regard themselves creating ‘footwork’ alone, the influence of the footwork and trap sounds have had a healthy knock-on effect within bass music in Bristol. Local heavyweight Addison Groove throws down his banging electro 808’s in footwork patterns (live!) while Sam Binga combines orchestral stabs and MC collaborations into the footwork mix. Bristol’s Artifact takes a different approach sprinkling syncopated footwork patterns amongst pristine techno.

Sell out warning! The one-man brass turntablism renaissance touched Bristol in June, and jazz junglism was never the same again. Takuya returns for a triumphant boundary-blurring set where sci-fi breaks, astral-techno and cerebral footwork mix with live trumpet in a potent one-of-a-kind club trip. Plus the Tokio Station house band are set to stun all disciples of: Jimi Tenor, Jlin, 4hero, Photek, Roni Size.

“Born out of Leeds, the label has built a reputation for chaotic energy, genre-blurring releases, and a community that treats every dancefloor like an experiment in bass pressure. Founded by Samurai Breaks and friends, SSBB has become a hub for high-tempo innovators across the UK and beyond, blending footwork, jungle and breakbeat with humour and a disregard for convention. Every SSBB takeover at Clock Factory has hit capacity, each one a sold-out reminder that the Booty Bangers crew never miss.”

“The Scared Money (Devon) and Over/Shadow (London) crews are a monumental reason that I am able to do this party, and I couldn’t be happier to heavily feature artists from both crews and show my appreciation from across the pond. This lineup is representative of the individuals who have supported each other both in the UK and in North America, who support UK and stateside jungle, ragga, dnb, hardcore, breakbeats, footwork, juke, turntablism, rave and VINYL!! Proud to be able to bring over a junglist to drop an all-stateside vinyl jungle set.”
